THE FAMILY.....l'amor che move il sole e l'altre stelle

Copertina catalogo statue

On Friday 29 and Saturday 30 September, an "open door" event took place at Fapim, in the Altopascio and Spianate premises. The event was related to the unveiling of the triptych made by the artist Guglielmo Malato and located at the main entrance, and it was dedicated to our employees, to their families and to the citizens of Altopascio.

Since the event was basically aimed to our employees and their families, the exhibition course started by presenting a collection prepared by the "artists" working at Fapim, which included paintings, photos, poems, porcelain figures, and wooden works.
It went through the corridors and rooms of the building with photo and video representations of the work steps, including an anthological exhibition dedicated to the artist.

In addition to that, in order to satisfy the employees' request to show the working facilities to their families, we opened the doors of the factory and arranged for some guided tours to show our production processes and technologies.

The factory was also opened to all citizens of Altopascio, as well as to anybody who wanted to be part of it, since at Fapim we do believe it's important to establish a positive and close relationship with the neighbourhood.

We wish to express our sincere satisfaction for the success of the event which gathered more than 1.000 people.
This was by far the best reward to our efforts, and we would like to thank all participants for their good reception of the initiative.
A particular ackowledgement goes to the "Employees Association for Recreational Activities" and to the over 50 voluntary workers who did contribute to its success, both during the preparation stage, and throughout the event.
