In Pistoia, a Tuscan cradle of the arts, since 1948 the prestigious foundry "Salvatori Arte" has been making bronze sculptures with the ancient fusion method that was known by Egyptians and Greeks. Here Malato's figures are moulded in bronze.

Once again the model undergoes a metamorphosis. By skilfully modelling the wax, the sculptor enhances the network of nerves, veins and muscles, all the branches that constitute the structure of the human body. In order to tone down the golden shade of the bronze, Malato used blue and dull red patinas. It seems that time has already softened, little by little, the chromatic values in order to give us the sensation and the hope that the beauty of this work will remain unchanged along the various ages and cultures.
